Banksy ac­cused of pla­gia­rism

Graf­fiti artist Banksy has been ac­cused of steal­ing de­signs from a Cana­dian car­toon­ist, in­clud­ing her art­work for Blur’s 2003 al­bum, Think Tank. Af­ter at­tend­ing an ex­hi­bi­tion of Banksy’s works, Cin­ders McLeod was struck by the sim­i­lar­i­ties to the al­bum cover, which fea­tures an embrace be­tween a man and a woman wear­ing an­tique div­ing suits. Other Banksy works Cin­ders be­lieves may have been stolen from her in­clude Bomb Hug­ger, a sten­cil of a girl clutch­ing a bomb.
