Art is in the eye of the beholder

I would remind the co-creator of Ascend to Enlightenment that we are all entitled to interpret art in our own way. Just because Ascend, to me, looks like something a Transformer barfed up, doesn’t mean I don’t want public art.

As a taxpaying citizen of Calgary, I think we could do much better by giving nine local artists $100,000 each. Dan Petryk, Calgary
