Jeopardy! selects its first guest host

As filming on Jeopardy! resumes after Alex Trebek's death, producers say Ken Jennings will be the first in a string of guest hosts for the game show. All the temporary hosts will have a history with the series — Jennings won 74 consecutive games in 2004, the longest streak ever, and joined the show as a consulting producer in September. “Alex believed in the importance of Jeopardy! and always said he wanted the show to go on after him,” executive producer Mike Richards said. “We will honour his legacy by continuing to produce the game he loved.”
