Ex­cel Homes has a brand new sin­gle-fam­ily en­try in the Cal­gary mar­ket­place.

The Westhill, a 2,503-sq.-ft. su­per-sized fam­ily home, is now avail­able in the north­west com­mu­nity of Car­ring­ton.

The four-bed­room twoand-a-half bath Westhill comes with a very flex­i­ble floor­plan.

Ex­cel’s mar­ket­ing and com­mu­ni­ca­tion spe­cial­ist, Stephanie Chap­man, says new buy­ers can eas­ily re­con­fig­ure the home to cre­ate up to five bed­rooms above grade.

“The flex room on the main floor can be­come an­other bed­room and the ex­ist­ing half-bath can be­come a mas­ter en­suite. We can also convert the but­ler’s pantry into a spice kitchen or sim­ply add an ex­tra sink,” says Chap­man.

Up­stairs, the fourth bed­room could eas- ily convert to a mas­ter and the bonus flex room would be­come its pri­vate en­suite.

“This is per­fect for an ag­ing par­ent or older child — maybe an adult child — who needs pri­vacy and their own bath­room,” says Chap­man.

Should a home­owner build the Westhill with the bonus room up­stairs, there’s an ad­di­tional flex space tucked away for a home of­fice or home­work space.

The mas­ter’s re­treat has a huge en­suite with an over­sized walk-in closet, says Chap­man.

“Ev­ery­thing con­nects, so you can walk from the mas­ter bed­room into the bath­room, into the closet and then into the laun­dry room, then out that door into the hall­way,” she says.

Start­ing in the $570,000s, the Westhill is be­ing built on 36-ft. lots in Car­ring­ton, lo­cated off Cen­tre St. North and Stoney Trail.
