REDCAT, LOS AN­GE­LES

Low in the re­cesses of the Walt Dis­ney Con­cert Hall com­plex in Los An­ge­les, Ta­mara Hen­der­son trans­formed the REDCAT gallery into an im­mer­sive theatre of dream­like en­coun­ters. The Sackville-born artist’s first solo ex­hi­bi­tion in the US was the sec­ond in a three-part suite ti­tled “Sea­sons End.” It ex­panded on an ear­lier ver­sion at the 2016 Glas­gow In­ter­na­tional and is sched­uled for a fi­nal it­er­a­tion at Oakville Gal­leries at Cen­ten­nial Square later this year.

The artist’s nomadic sen­si­bil­i­ties were re­flected in the pro­lific as­sort­ment of ob­jects and ma­te­ri­als col­lected along
