The 24 Hours of Adrenalin is one of the country’s most popular and longest standing races of its kind. It will hit the trails around Canmore for the 21st time this year. There are solo or team options, but don’t expect the team option to be a walk in the park. “It’s a big challenge to put together one-hour sprint efforts every four to five hours,” two-time participant Jeff Bartlett said. “There’s something really special about watching the solo riders, too, as they’re battling themselves as much as the challenging course.” The festival vibe and gorgeous scenery also add to the weekend. “It’s a wicked course and it gains a unique character when it’s flooded with participants,” Bartlett said. “It also draws a huge spectator crowd even as an amateur event, so it’s fun coming into the pit area and hearing a cheering crowd.”
