GRILLED KOREAN BEEF RIBS

Korean Beef Mari­nade In blender, purée to­gether pear, soy sauce, sugar, vine­gar, onions, gin­ger, gar­lic, pep­per, oil and salt.

In large shal­low dish, pour mari­nade over ribs, toss­ing to coat; cover and re­frig­er­ate, turn­ing oc­ca­sion­ally, for 8 hours. (Make-ahead: Re­frig­er­ate for up to 24 hours.)

Place ribs on greased grill over medi­umhigh heat; close lid and grill, turn­ing once, un­til still slightly pink in cen­tre, about 6 min­utes.

Cut ribs into 1- or 2-rib por­tions; serve sprin­kled with green onion.
