VEAL PATTY MELTS
Patties Whisk together 1 tbsp water, egg, garlic, parsley, mustard, salt, caraway seeds and pepper; mix in veal. Shape into four ¾-inch thick patties.
Place on greased grill over medium heat; close lid and grill, turning once, until instant-read thermometer inserted sideways into centre reads 160°F, about 15 minutes.
In large skillet, heat oil over medium heat; cook onions, salt and pepper, stirring occasionally, until golden, about 10 minutes. Spread mustard over 4 of the bread slices; top with patties, Swiss cheese and fried onions. Sandwich with remaining bread. Place on greased grill over mediumlow heat; close lid and grill, turning once, until bread is grill-marked and Swiss is melted, about 6 minutes.
