Vi­ta­min C–packed pomegranates con­tain hun­dreds of sweet ruby-red seeds—called ar­ils—to snack on. To eas­ily re­move the ar­ils, cut the fruit in half and hold seed side down over a bowl. With a wooden spoon, strike the back of the fruit, let­ting the tiny de­li­cious bits drop into the bowl.
