We most often associate savouring with eating delicious food, but this concept can be applied to other aspects of our lives, too. Savouring is largely about slowing down the sensory experience: We can savour important moments or compelling events like a vibrant sunset or a meaningful conversation. The capacity to recognize and appreciate enjoyable life exper-iences can enhance relationships, wellbeing, and quality of life. So, this Thanksgiving, don’t just savour the food, slow down and savour the moments as well.
