Oakville’s mostly f lat land­scape is bal­anced out by stun­ning trails and ravines to suit ev­ery run­ner’s taste. Look­ing for an easy route? Cov­er­ing 6k in to­tal, the JOSHUA’S CREEK TRAIL runs from the Dundas Street and Ninth Line area to the start of Win­ston Churchill Boule­vard m. The WA­TER­FRONT TRAIL of­fer’s a breezy 13k route along the Lake On­tario shore­line that starts at Bur­loak Drive. and ends at Win­ston Churchill Boule­vard m. Oakville is one of Canada’s most aff lu­ent com­mu­ni­ties. For your long run, take in views of the sprawl­ing man­sions along LAKESHORE RD. while run­ning nearly the length of the town. Start at Corona­tion Park h to Maple Grove Drive, then up to Corn­wall Road. Run west to Trafal­gar Road, then north to Dundas Street West. The en­tire route runs ap­prox­i­mately 18k.
