Parallel 49 Brewing Company h 1950 Triumph St. parallel49brewing.com Tucked away where industrial meets residential is one of East Vancouver’s most well known breweries. With a new tasting room, you won’t have any trouble finding a seat with the 125-person capacity. With over 40 beers rotating on tap made from seasonal ingredients, there is something for everyone. Even better, the tasting room has a food truck inside, with a menu made from fresh ingredients, creatively paired to enjoy with your favourite beers. Doan’s Craft Brewing Company i 1830 Powell St. doanscraftbrewing.com Doan’s is a family-run brewery with a small tasting room and big flavour. Grab a seat at the social table while you enjoy the display of local artwork. There are also board games and vintage arcade games to play if the mood strikes. Callister Brewing Company j 1338 Franklin St. callisterbrewing.com Callister is one-of-a-kind as it operates as a co-brewery supporting independent brewers to grow their business. Brewers sign on for a one-year term while they collaborate, produce and sell their beer to the public. A smaller tasting room, but very worth the visit. Luppolo Brewing Company k 1123 Venables St. luppolobrewing.ca Luppolo, meaning hops in Italian, is a newer brewery to the Yeast Van scene.
