The Hyperion has been around for a couple of years now, and the Seattlebased running shoe company hasn’t messed with its excellent design at all in 2017. It’s an extremely light and fast shoe, with a basic chunk of eva for the slightest amount of cushioning as you f ly through your next 10k PB.
Up top, the Hyperion’s smooth single woven layer of fabric is simple and sticks with the overall ideology of this shoe: keep it light and fast. Of course, the Hyperion isn’t really meant for everyday training or running more than a 10k or half-marathon, but it’s a perfect second shoe in your running tool kit for speed work, tempo runs or that big goal race. We’re happy that Brooks didn’t feel the pressure to needlessly tweak the Hyperion, because we love it just the way it is.
