Chinese company 361° emerged on the American market about a year ago, and now is available in Canada. The company built their reputation organically in their home country with both strong product sales and a massive f leet of retail stores. Now, we get another reputable running shoe option from Asia in the Canadian market.

The kgm2 2 is a sleek and stripped down trainer/racer designed specifically for 10ks and half-marathons. The shoe weighs in at the lighter end of the scale for a model that could conceivably be an everyday trainer for some. The breathable mesh upper compliments a rather plush midsole made from the company’s Quickfoam material, which, according to our testers, is adequately responsive during a hard tempo run. The outsole is designed for the long haul as well: blown rubber pods provide grip and durability, making the kgm2 2 a decent choice for every sort of workout or race leading up to a solid half-marathon.
