Men’s 285 g (10.1 oz.); Women’s 247 g (8.7 oz.); Drop ratio: 10 mm; $145

With so many versions, the Pegasus is one of the most refined and trustworthy neutral shoes on the market. This new version does provide notable changes, particularly with the ride and overall styling of the upper. The Peg 34 is also a touch lighter, which is always welcomed.

Nike’s Flywire lacing system is tucked away in the sleek and breathable Flymesh upper, and offers a snug custom fit around the top of the foot. The upper itself only has one seam, along the back of the heel, keeping it smooth and light. The Pegasus is incredibly durable and should survive kilometres, if not more, making its low price tag an excellent value. Our testers found the Peg 34 to be snappier than the 33. The forefoot and heel airbags pair brilliantly with the Cushlon foam for a speedy ride. Nike managed to dial in their go-to everyday trainer even more precisely with the Pegasus 34.
