Grilled As­para­gus,

1–2 bunches of as­para­gus, ends re­moved (chop off 3–5 cm from bot­tom)

Olive oil

Salt and pep­per to taste


1 In a shal­low dish, spread the as­para­gus into one sin­gle layer.

2 Driz­zle olive oil and toss un­til all stems are lightly coated.

3 Sea­son with salt and pep­per as de­sired.

4 On a heated bar­beque, place the as­para­gus di­rectly on the grill for about 3-4 min­utes un­til lightly charred.

5 If want to cook fur­ther, place on top rack, or trans­fer into a foil pan for an ad­di­tional 3 min­utes.
