Al­though free ac­cess to na­tional parks across the coun­try is a boon for eager trav­ellers, con­ser­va­tion­ists are wor­ried that more peo­ple will cre­ate more prob­lems for wildlife. For al­ready-busy parks like Banff or the Bruce Penin­sula, more vis­i­tors could push them over ca­pac­ity. For lesser-vis­ited parks, vis­i­tors could dis­turb the bal­ance.
