ECMA countdown is on
Cape Breton Post will introduce you to some of the nominees and artists attending this year’s event from each of the five ECMA regions.
SYDNEY — The East Coast Music Awards, Festival and Conference is coming back to Cape Breton this year and there’s lots of musicians and bands for local fans to catch during the four-day event set for March 4-7.
From emerging artists like The Danks, Ian Foster, Andy Brown, Anna Ludlow and Cape Breton’s own The Easy Bleeders, to national and international stars like Joel Plaskett, In-Flight Safety, David Myles, Amelia Curran, Jessica Rhaye, and Madison Violet — there’s plenty of talent headed our way.
Over the next month, the Cape Breton Post will introduce you to some of the nominees and artists attending the event this year from each of the five ECMA regions — Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, mainland Nova Scotia and Cape Breton.
One region will be profiled each week over the next five weeks. The profiles will run every Wednesday beginning tomorrow and concluding March 3, the day before all the fun, and the music, gets started in Sydney.
