Cape Bre­ton Post will in­tro­duce you to some of the nom­i­nees and artists at­tend­ing this year’s event from each of the five ECMA re­gions.

SYD­NEY — The East Coast Mu­sic Awards, Fes­ti­val and Con­fer­ence is com­ing back to Cape Bre­ton this year and there’s lots of mu­si­cians and bands for lo­cal fans to catch dur­ing the four-day event set for March 4-7.

From emerg­ing artists like The Danks, Ian Foster, Andy Brown, Anna Lud­low and Cape Bre­ton’s own The Easy Bleed­ers, to na­tional and in­ter­na­tional stars like Joel Plas­kett, In-Flight Safety, David Myles, Amelia Cur­ran, Jes­sica Rhaye, and Madi­son Vi­o­let — there’s plenty of tal­ent headed our way.

Over the next month, the Cape Bre­ton Post will in­tro­duce you to some of the nom­i­nees and artists at­tend­ing the event this year from each of the five ECMA re­gions — New­found­land and Labrador, Prince Ed­ward Is­land, New Brunswick, main­land Nova Sco­tia and Cape Bre­ton.

One re­gion will be pro­filed each week over the next five weeks. The pro­files will run ev­ery Wed­nes­day beginning to­mor­row and con­clud­ing March 3, the day be­fore all the fun, and the mu­sic, gets started in Syd­ney.
