A stitch in time
Members of Cape Breton 4-H recently held an event at Mira Stitch ‘n’ Post which allowed rural leaders to develop new crafting skills and ideas to take back to their regional clubs. Workshop topics included tips on basic quilting and rotary cutting. The instructor for the day-long event was Jacquie Gillis. Callie MacDonald, left, 4-H member from Grand Mira, Monica MacDonald, instructor, and Mary Theresa Jessome, 4-H member from Arm of Gold 4-H Club, review some of the aspects of assembling and embroidery equipment services offered at the shop.
