CBRM recre­ation depart­ment seeks vol­un­teer nom­i­na­tions

SYD­NEY — The Cape Bre­ton Re­gional Mu­nic­i­pal­ity’s recre­ation depart­ment in­vites nom­i­na­tions for its spe­cial vol­un­teer awards be­ing pre­sented at the April meet­ing of the CBRM coun­cil.

The spe­cial vol­un­teer awards in­clude the Gary McDon­ald Memo­rial Award in recog­ni­tion of an out­stand­ing com­mu­nity project, the Anne Hol­land Memo­rial Award in recog­ni­tion of an out­stand­ing com­mu­nity vol­un­teer, and the Youth Vol­un­teer Award for an out­stand­ing youth vol­un­teer. Dead­line for nom­i­na­tions is March 15.

Cri­te­ria for the awards can be found at any of the area recre­ation offices of the Cape Bre­ton Re­gional Mu­nic­i­pal­ity or on CBRM’s web­site at http://www.cbrm.ns.ca.
