SYD­NEY — Dal­housie Med­i­cal School is giv­ing po­ten­tial pa­tients their say in the type of doc­tors that will be trained in the near fu­ture.

Syd­ney will be one of six stops on the school’s com­mu­nity con­ver­sa­tion tour de­signed to dis­cover the qual­i­ties peo­ple ex­pect in their doc­tors.

“At th­ese ses­sions the fo­cus ques­tion is what qual­i­ties make a good doc­tor?” said Dr. Christy Simp­son, as­so­ciate pro­fes­sor of bioethics at Dal­housie and fa­cil­i­ta­tor of the meet­ings.
