Hawks host­ing an­nual win­ter fes­ti­val

DO­MIN­ION — Any­one feel­ing the ol’ win­ter blues might find some­thing to do in Do­min­ion.

The Do­min­ion Hawks Club’s an­nual win­ter fes­ti­val be­gin to­day.

“If there are any folks out there want­ing to get rid of the win­ter blues this week, the Do­min­ion Hawks Club is the place to go,” said chair Bill MacPher­son.

Ac­tiv­i­ties be­gin at 8 p.m., to­day with a prime rib steak roll for $2. Thurs­day at 8 p.m. a sin­gles dart tour­na­ment will be held. All men and women are in­vited. Spe­cial rules will be in ef­fect. Regis­tra­tion is $2.

Fri­day at 8 p.m., a team crib night will be held. Regis­tra­tion is $5 a per­son and all money goes back for prizes.

Satur­day at 2 p.m., a crib tour­na­ment will be held. Regis­tra­tion is $2. Par­tic­i­pants will pick a part­ner from a hat. From 9 p.m.-1 a.m. a karaoke will be held.

Sun­day, from 3-6 p.m. a win­ter fest ceilidh is on tap fea­tur­ing well known fid­dle player Dwayne Cote, pi­anist Mario Colosimo, along with spe­cial friends.

MacPher­son said every­one is wel­come to join in any or all of the events.
