Eskasoni man charged with thefts released
SYDNEY — An Eskasoni man facing charges of break, enter and theft was released on conditions following a bail hearing Monday.
Frank Joseph Googoo, 25, will now appear in court for plea on July 27. Googoo is facing four counts of break, enter and theft.
A co-accused, Bryan Courtney Charles Marshall, 29, of Chapel Island, is charged with two counts of break, enter and theft.
He was originally expected to enter a plea on the charges Thursday, but that has been changed to July 30.
A third accused, Janice Marcializ Marshall, 24, of Eskasoni, is facing two counts of break, enter and theft, and is scheduled to enter pleas July 13.
In all, there are six people charged in connection with a number of break and enters over the last weekend in May.
Cape Breton Regional Police arrested the six on May 30 after residents along the Derby Point Road in Victoria County reported a suspicious vehicle in the area.
