Nova Scotia Business Inc. launches new programs
SYDNEY — Nova Scotia Business Inc. has launched two new programs to encourage and increase exports and private sector growth in the province. The Small Business Development Program is designed to help eligible businesses participate in a global supply chain, become first-time exporters, remove barriers to exporting, or increase exports by getting customized expertise. The Export Growth Program is set up to help eligible businesses with projects to overcome export-growth barriers, such as travel to market and helping with costs for events such as trade shows and conferences. “We are working with companies so that Nova Scotia is selling to the world, and selling the world on doing business here,” said Laurel Broten, president and CEO of Nova Scotia Business Inc., in a press release. “These programs we're sharing with the business community today are tools we will use with companies to get them export-ready, leverage in-market opportunities and increase export capacity.” Visit www.novascotiabusiness.com for more information.
