Nova Sco­tia Busi­ness Inc. launches new pro­grams

SYD­NEY — Nova Sco­tia Busi­ness Inc. has launched two new pro­grams to en­cour­age and in­crease ex­ports and pri­vate sec­tor growth in the province. The Small Busi­ness De­vel­op­ment Pro­gram is de­signed to help el­i­gi­ble busi­nesses par­tic­i­pate in a global sup­ply chain, be­come first-time ex­porters, re­move bar­ri­ers to ex­port­ing, or in­crease ex­ports by get­ting cus­tom­ized ex­per­tise. The Ex­port Growth Pro­gram is set up to help el­i­gi­ble busi­nesses with projects to over­come ex­port-growth bar­ri­ers, such as travel to mar­ket and help­ing with costs for events such as trade shows and con­fer­ences. “We are work­ing with com­pa­nies so that Nova Sco­tia is selling to the world, and selling the world on do­ing busi­ness here,” said Lau­rel Broten, pres­i­dent and CEO of Nova Sco­tia Busi­ness Inc., in a press re­lease. “These pro­grams we're shar­ing with the busi­ness com­mu­nity to­day are tools we will use with com­pa­nies to get them ex­port-ready, lever­age in-mar­ket op­por­tu­ni­ties and in­crease ex­port ca­pac­ity.” Visit­vas­co­tiabusi­ for more in­for­ma­tion.
