We the fam­ily of Irv­ing MacDougall, 70, re­gret­fully an­nounce his pass­ing on Satur­day, July 4, 2015 at the CBRH, Syd­ney.

Born in New Water­ford, he was the son of the late Clifford and Frances (Near­ing) MacDougall. Irvie worked as a fur­nace re­pair­man for many years.

Sur­viv­ing mem­bers of his im­me­di­ate fam­ily in­clude his wife, Brenda; daugh­ter, Paula; son, Ver­tie (Tracey); broth­ers, Don­ald (Mary), Al­bert (Mau­reen); sis­ters, June Dubois, Cathy Cashen (Mick) and his spe­cial grand­daugh­ter, El­yse.

Be­sides his par­ents, Irvie was pre­de­ceased by his three broth­ers, Jackie, Clifford and Ver­tie.

At Irvie’s re­quest, there will be no vis­i­ta­tion or ser­vice. Cre­ma­tion has taken place un­der the di­rec­tion of V.J. McGil­livray Fu­neral Home, New Water­ford. A pri­vate burial will be held in St. Agnes Ceme­tery at a later date.
