Foul play not sus­pected in man’s death

Po­lice say foul play is not sus­pected in the death of man found in Renwick Brook Park Mon­day.

In a new’s re­lease, De­siree Vas­sallo, spokesper­son for the CBRPS, said the man’s body has been sent for au­topsy to con­firm the ex­act cause of death, but po­lice do not be­lieve foul play is a fac­tor.

Vas­sallo said the in­ves­ti­ga­tion is con­tin­u­ing, the Ma­jor Crime and Foren­sic Iden­ti­fi­ca­tion units are work­ing with the Med­i­cal Ex­am­iner’s Of­fice.

Po­lice were called to the Park Street area of Renwick Brook at about 12:30 p.m. Mon­day af­ter a young man walk­ing through the park spot­ted the de­ceased male from the walk­ing track.
