Greedy scores in loss
Cape Breton Capers men’s soccer team graduate Ian Greedy scored for Canada in a 3-1 loss to host South Korea on Tuesday at the 2015 Summer Universiade. The Lower Sackville native bent the twine 13 minutes into the second half for his first goal of the tournament. Canada dropped to 0-3 and will play in the consolation round on Thursday against Russia. The Canadian women’s basketball team coached by Capers bench boss Fabian McKenzie finished the preliminary round at 3-0 with a 65-44 triumph over Mozambique. Canada faces the Czech Republic in quarter-final action on Thursday.
