LEBLANC, James ‘Rick’ Roscoe

St. Thomas, Ont./Mill Creek It is with heavy hearts that we, the fam­ily of Rick LeBlanc, an­nounce his pass­ing on July 1, 2015 in St. Thomas, Ont.

Born in Mill Creek, Cape Bre­ton, Jan. 1940, Rick was the son of Everett and Agnes (Du­gas) LeBlanc.

In his young life he worked on the Great Lake boats for a few years, then re­turned home to work in the fish­ing in­dus­try. Af­ter a short time he moved with his young fam­ily to On­tario.

He worked with Sch­nei­der’s Meats for a time be­fore get­ting a job with Ford Canada and worked there un­til his re­tire­ment. Rick was al­ways a hard worker and de­voted to his fam­ily.

He is sur­vived by his sons, Bruce and Bob, nu­mer­ous grand­chil­dren and great-grand­chil­dren.

He is also sur­vived by sis­ters, He­lene (Blake) Marsh, Mill Creek; Pat LeBlanc, Cal­gary; Sharon (Gord) MacNeil, Wasaga Beach, Ont.; Marie, St. Thomas, Ont.; broth­ers, Mike, Wood­stock, Ont., Camp­bell and Brian, Florence, Cape Bre­ton and nu­mer­ous nieces and neph­ews.

Rick is also sur­vived by his ex- wife, Sylvia (Marsh) LeBlanc, the mother of his chil­dren and his es­tranged wife, Sandi LeBlanc.

Pre­de­ceased by his daugh­ter, Jen­nifer and son, Richard; sis­ters, Agnes, Veron­ica, Anne, Heather and Deb­bie; broth­ers, Joe, Evie and Bruce.

Do­na­tions in Rick’s mem­ory can be made to the Parkin­son So­ci­ety, the Lung As­so­ci­a­tion or a char­ity of choice.

View­ing took place at Wil­liams Fu­neral Home in St. Thomas, Ont. on Tues­day, July 7th, cre­ma­tion to fol­low. Burial at a later date.
