Accused to enter pleas on sex offences
SYDNEY — A 65-year-old Sydney man is to return to provincial court in August to enter pleas on two sex offences. John Edward Trites of Cartier Street is charged with indecent assault and committing an act of gross indecency by tying a male to a wooden post, pulling down his pants and leading a calf over to the male’s genitals. The offences are alleged to have occurred between 1979 and 1982. Trites is now scheduled to enter pleas Aug. 4. He continues his release on conditions.
