Plea set on drug charges

SYD­NEY — A New Water­ford man will be back in court in Au­gust to en­ter pleas on drug charges. James Al­bert MacPhee, 55, of Healand Street, is charged with two counts of pos­ses­sion for the pur­pose of traf­fick­ing in hy­dro­mor­phone and methylphenidate. MacPhee ap­peared in court Thurs­day af­ter an ar­rest war­rant was is­sued ear­lier this week when he failed to show for a sched­uled court date. The war­rant was va­cated af­ter his ap­pear­ance and he is now sched­uled to en­ter pleas Aug. 6.
