Plea set on drug charges
SYDNEY — A New Waterford man will be back in court in August to enter pleas on drug charges. James Albert MacPhee, 55, of Healand Street, is charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking in hydromorphone and methylphenidate. MacPhee appeared in court Thursday after an arrest warrant was issued earlier this week when he failed to show for a scheduled court date. The warrant was vacated after his appearance and he is now scheduled to enter pleas Aug. 6.
