Only three golfers shot a lower third round score than Trevor Chow, but the Baddeck native still finds himself six strokes off the pace at the 2015 MCT Insurance Men’s Amateur provincial championship. Chow, who now resides in the Halifax area, fired a two-over par 73 on Friday at Kingston’s Paragon Golf and Country Club in a round that featured four birdies and six bogeys. Through three rounds, the 38-year- old sits tied for fourth place with a cumulative score of 10-over par. Chow, who golfs out of the Ashburn Golf Club in Fall River, shot 77 and 73 in rounds one and two. The tournament leader is now David Williamson, also of Ashburn, whose four-over par total gives him a three stroke lead heading into Saturday’s final round. The 36-hole leader, Bradford Curren, was disqualified, however details as to why were not released.
