Most families like to unite at Thanksgiving, but the Millers intend to go in the opposite direction in the new episode “Papa Was a Rolling Bone.” Each of the relatives has his or her own plans for the holiday — but when all of those begin to go south, they consider spending Turkey Day together after all. Will Arnett, Margo Martindale, Beau Bridges, Jayma Mays, Sean Hayes and J.B. Smoove star. Another new episode follows.
2 Running Wild With Bear Grylls
9 p.m. on (NBC)
As many of his movies suggest, Channing Tatum seems to be a reasonably physical guy — but that doesn’t necessarily mean he’s ready for the Bear Grylls brand of outdoor challenge. This episode shows whether he is, as Grylls puts the actor through the paces of wilderness survival in California’s Yosemite National Park. One thing is pretty much guaranteed, though: Tatum should be sporting more clothing than he did through much of “Magic Mike.”
10 p.m. on (CBS)
Ronny’s (Tyler Ritter) secrecy about seeing a therapist (guest star David Alan Grier) goes out the window when the other McCarthys find out and barge into a session in the new episode “Family Therapy.” The counselor then finds himself with more than he can handle when all the relatives begin discussing the issues they have with one another. Laurie Metcalf, Jimmy Dunn, Joey McIntyre, Jack McGee and Kelen Coleman also star.
4 My Life Without Me
10 p.m. on (BVO)
Sarah Polley (“The Sweet Hereafter”) stars as a 23-year-old wife and mother who hides her terminal illness from her family and sets out to tie up the loose ends of her life. Director Isabel Coixet’s 2003 drama also stars Scott Speedman, Amanda Plummer, Deborah Harry and Mark Ruffalo.
Yukon for Sale
10 p.m. on (CMT)
Canadian country music singer George Canyon provides narration on this new real estate series, which follows house hunters from diverse personal and geographical backgrounds who seek to unplug from modernday madness and put down fresh roots in the Yukon territory. In this new episode, British eccentrics Lou and Gary, who recently moved to the Yukon, are seeking space for livestock in the gold rush town of Dawson City.
