Some Cape Bre­ton­ers serv­ing on the HMCS Fred­er­ic­ton are seen in St. John’s, N.L., dur­ing a stopover to clear cus­toms. The ship, which was de­ployed Dec. 30 to the Black Sea as part of NATO’s re­sponse to Rus­sia’s ac­tiv­i­ties in that area, is set to ar­rive in Hal­i­fax to­day. In front, from left, are Sgt.
