Kiwanis “K Kids” meet weekly and volunteer to raise community awareness and to raise funds or collect supplies for people and groups in their community who are in need. This particular group is from Robin Foote Elementary. They started in February and within a short time, took on several projects such as collecting supplies for the SPCA and they also made donations to the Food Bank. Recently they have received a “Kiwanis K Kids Charter to celebrate their work. They are one of only three schools in Eastern Canada to achieve this status.
