K Kids

Ki­wa­nis “K Kids” meet weekly and vol­un­teer to raise com­mu­nity aware­ness and to raise funds or col­lect sup­plies for peo­ple and groups in their com­mu­nity who are in need. This par­tic­u­lar group is from Robin Foote Ele­men­tary. They started in Fe­bru­ary and within a short time, took on sev­eral projects such as col­lect­ing sup­plies for the SPCA and they also made do­na­tions to the Food Bank. Re­cently they have re­ceived a “Ki­wa­nis K Kids Char­ter to celebrate their work. They are one of only three schools in Eastern Canada to achieve this sta­tus.
