Florence man to have bail hear­ing

SYD­NEY — A 53-year-old Florence man ar­rested last week on drug charges is now sched­uled to have a bail hear­ing Wed­nes­day. Eric Dwight Rud­der­ham made a brief court ap­pear­ance Mon­day and con­sented to a fur­ther re­mand pend­ing the out­come of his bail hear­ing. He is charged with pos­ses­sion for the pur­pose of traf­fick­ing in buprenor­phine, a drug used in the treat­ment of heroin and oxy- codone ad­dic­tions. He is also fac­ing two counts of breach­ing court or­ders. The of­fences al­legedly oc­curred July 10 in Florence. A sec­ond per­son was also charged but the name has not been re­leased by po­lice who have yet to file the in­for­ma­tion with the court.
