On Sun­day, July 12, 2015, at 71 years of age in Cape Bre­ton Re­gional Hos­pi­tal, Rose slipped peace­fully away to join her hus­band Austin, in God’s pres­ence. Also await­ing her in eter­nity are her brother Alex Fougere, half-brother Mickey Fougere, and a half-sis­ter.

She has left be­hind her son Austin War­ren (Pearl), grand­chil­dren, Anna, Michelle, Blair, Re­becca and An­thony, great­grand­daugh­ter Amy, brother Joe Fougere, sis­ters-in-law, Marie Clake (Ge­orge), Ann Bren­nan (Danny), Su­san O’Brian (Darcy), Kim Fougere and Anne Fougere, brother-in-law An­gus War­ren (Brenda) as well as nu­mer­ous nieces, neph­ews and best friend Joanne.

Rose was de­voted to her fam­ily and al­ways en­joyed ev­ery minute spent with her grand­chil­dren, whom she adored. She also en­joyed her favourite pas­time, play­ing darts.

A vis­i­ta­tion will be held at Pat­ten Fu­neral Home on Tues­day from 7-9 p.m. and Wed­nes­day from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.. Fu­neral ser­vice will be at 2 p.m. on Wed­nes­day, July 15, 2015 at St. Mary’s Angli­can Church in Glace Bay with in­ter­ment to fol­low in Greenwood Ceme­tery.
