Glace Bay man scheduled to enter pleas
SYDNEY — A Glace Bay man is to return to provincial court Aug. 11 to enter pleas on charges including making false fire alarm calls. David Leonard Simmons, 40, of Dinn Street, is charged with two counts of making false fire alarm calls along with three counts of breaching court orders and a single count of prowling at night. The offences allegedly occurred between June and July in Sydney and Glace Bay. The alarm charges stem from two incidents at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Simmons continues his release on conditions.
