Len­nie Gallant to head­line fes­ti­val

Acous­tic Roots Fes­ti­val set for Septem­ber at Two Rivers Wildlife Park

The third an­nual Acous­tic Roots Fes­ti­val will fea­ture award-win­ning singer-song­writer Len­nie Gallant when it’s held Sept 4-6 at Two Rivers Wildlife Park.

The Cape Bre­ton fes­ti­val show­cases some of At­lantic Canada’s most pop­u­lar folk, coun­try, Celtic, blue­grass and blues artists.

Per­form­ers in­clude Adam Young, Adri­anne & Mike, Al­lie Ben­nett, All Fired Up, An­gelo Spinaz­zola, Anita Mac­Don­ald, Ben Miller, Buddy Mac­Don­ald, Colin Grant, Crowdis Bridge, Cyril MacPhee, Dara Mac­Don­ald, Dar­rell Keigan, De­cota McNa­mara, Jason Mac­Don­ald, Jor­don Musyc­syn, Len­nie Gallant, MacArthur School of Dance, Dwayne Cote, Ian Sher­wood, Robert Bouchard, The Cape Bre­ton School of the Arts and The Goin’s On.

Two Rivers Wildlife Park will also be host­ing the Ole County Fair and Horse Show that same week­end.

Per­for­mances be­gin at 6 p.m. on Sept. 4 with an 11 a.m. start on Sept. 5 and 6.

Var­i­ous mu­si­cal work­shops will be held through­out the fes­ti­val.
