Nurs­ing stu­dents help com­mu­nity kitchen

Sec­ond-year prac­ti­cal nurs­ing stu­dents at Nova Sco­tia Com­mu­nity Col­lege’s Mar­coni Cam­pus re­cently raised enough money to pur­chase a $5,500 steam ta­ble and do­nate $2,442.20 for Loaves and Fishes, a down­town Syd­ney com­mu­nity kitchen. The to­tal amount of $7,942.20 was raised through ticket sales, bake sales, 50/50 draws, bag­ging gro­ceries and other ac­tiv­i­ties.
