Eskasoni man charged with break-ins to enter pleas
SYDNEY — An Eskasoni man made a brief provincial court appearance Friday and was remanded until Thursday when he is expected to enter pleas to a host of offences. Virick Robert Bernard, 23, is charged with three counts of break, enter and theft, three counts of breaching court orders, two counts of assault and single counts of possession of stolen goods and mischief. He is one of six people charged in connection with a series of break and enters in June into homes and cottages in the Pipers Cove area. He was previously denied bail.
