New Water­ford

Ter­rance ‘ Ju­nior’ McIn­tosh, age 73, passed away at home in New Water­ford on Sun­day, July 26, 2015.

Born in New Water­ford, he was the son of the late Ter­rance and Mar­guer ite (Hen­nesey) McIn­tosh.

Ter­rance served in the Cana­dian mil­i­tary with the Black Watch. While sta­tioned in Ger­many he met his fu­ture wife, Maria from Hol­land. Ju­nior worked in the con­struc­tion busi­ness for 30 years in Hol­land. He loved work­ing out at the gym.

He is sur­vived by his son, Pa­trick; step­son, Jackie, both in Hol­land; five broth­ers, Henry, Fran­cis (Su­san), Char­lie (Sharon), Joseph, Rus­sell; three sis­ters, Anna Skin­ner (Carl), Carol McIn­tosh ( Joe), El­iz­a­beth McIn­tosh; three grand­chil­dren, sev­eral nieces, neph­ews and a spe­cial nephew, Dakota McIn­tosh.

Ter­rance was pre­de­ceased by his wife, Maria, and two sis­ters, Donna and Carmel.

Cre­ma­tion has taken place. A fu­neral ser­vice will be held on Thurs­day at 1 p.m. in the V.J. McGil­livray Fu­neral Home Chapel, 380 Smith St., New Water­ford with Rev. Ray Hunt­ley of­fi­ci­at­ing.
