Plea date set for North Sydney man
SYDNEY — A North Sydney man is now expected to enter pleas to a host of offences during a provincial court appearance on Aug. 10. Donald Alexander Dunphy, 38, of Mapleview Drive is charged with break and enter, two counts of mischief relating to property damage, theft and breaching court orders. He is charged in connection with a break-in at a North Sydney businesses during which tools were among the items taken. The incident occurred July 22. Dunphy continues to be on remand at the Cape Breton Correctional Centre. He is also facing unrelated charges dealing with two counts of breaching court orders, which allegedly occurred in May.
