President, companies charged with failing to file tax returns
SYDNEY — A North Sydney businessman and two of his companies have been charged with failing to file income tax returns. Michael Jesty, 42, along with Acme Seafood Ltd. and Acme Ventures Ltd., are all charged with failing to income tax returns. For Jesty, the charges cover a time frame of 2010-2013; for Acme Seafoods, the time frame is between 2010 and 2014; while for Acme Ventures the time frame is between 2008 and 2013. Jesty made a brief provincial court appearance Monday and is scheduled to return to court Sept. 21 to enter pleas.
