Woman stabbed in North Syd­ney

Cape Bre­ton Re­gional Po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing a stab­bing that took place on King Street on Tues­day morn­ing.

At 10:30 a.m., po­lice learned of an al­ter­ca­tion on King Street, be­tween two fe­males who were known to each other.

A 25-year-old woman was found suf­fer­ing from what ap­peared to be a non-life-threat­en­ing stab wound. She was taken to North­side Gen­eral Hos­pi­tal and a 37-year-old woman was lo­cated and ar­rested. The in­ves­ti­ga­tion is on­go­ing.
