SYDNEY — A New Waterford man has received a federal prison sentence on weapon and driving offences. Gregory Vincent Miller, 60, of Hinchey Avenue was sentenced to a term of three years, eight months and 15 days in connection with an incident in July 2013 in New Waterford. He was sentenced after a jury found him guilty on two counts of discharging a firearm with intent to endanger life and a single count of impaired driving. Other charges were stayed. Miller is also banned for life from possessing any firearms or explosives.
