SYDNEY — Hampton Inn Sydney general manager Glen Morrison has been chosen among executives in the Hilton Hotel chain to participate in training to enhance the performance of his employees. It’s the second year Hilton has called for applications from general managers from its top 25 per cent performing Hampton hotels worldwide. From the 125 applicants received, the company narrowed its selection down to 27 people to take part in the leadership development program called Ambassador U. Morrison is the only Canadian general manager in the group. The program includes dedicating 12 hours per month to “live events, webinars, and interactive exercises,” according to information released by Hilton. Cape Breton Post
