Bail hearing set for Membertou man on robbery charge
SYDNEY — A 23- year- old Membertou man is to return to provincial court Friday for a bail hearing on charges including robbery. Justin Frank- Isaac Francis is charged with robbery with violence, wearing a mask in committing an offence and carrying a weapon dangerous to public peace ( a knife). The offences allegedly occurred at the Toronto Dominion bank in downtown Sydney last December. He is also facing an unrelated offence of breaching a court order which is alleged to have occurred in January. After a brief court appearance Tuesday, Francis consented to a further remand pending the outcome of his bail hearing.
