Bail hear­ing set for Mem­ber­tou man on rob­bery charge

SYD­NEY — A 23- year- old Mem­ber­tou man is to re­turn to pro­vin­cial court Fri­day for a bail hear­ing on charges in­clud­ing rob­bery. Justin Frank- Isaac Fran­cis is charged with rob­bery with vi­o­lence, wear­ing a mask in com­mit­ting an of­fence and car­ry­ing a weapon dan­ger­ous to pub­lic peace ( a knife). The of­fences al­legedly oc­curred at the Toronto Do­min­ion bank in down­town Syd­ney last De­cem­ber. He is also fac­ing an un­re­lated of­fence of breach­ing a court or­der which is al­leged to have oc­curred in Jan­uary. Af­ter a brief court ap­pear­ance Tues­day, Fran­cis con­sented to a fur­ther re­mand pend­ing the out­come of his bail hear­ing.
