Plea set for Eskasoni man on multiple thefts
ESKASONI — An Eskasoni man is to return to provincial court in May to enter pleas stemming from an alleged one- day crime spree. On Jan. 31, MacKenzie David Poulette, 19, allegedly stole a cellphone, $50, an RCMP medal, a set of keys, an iPod, earphones, a GPS unit, a Ford F-150 truck, and four pairs of sunglasses. He is now charged with the seven counts of theft. Poulette is to enter pleas to the charges May 3.
