It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of our dear husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, John James DeYoung, age 72, after a brief illness, on Thursday, February 2,2017 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Arichat, he was the son of Mrs. Idella (Boudreau) Duyon and the late Edward Duyon.

diver. He was always willing to help anyone in need and to lend a helping hand.
