Three Glace Bay accused to have bail hearings
Three Glace Bay men are to return to provincial court today after being arrested over the weekend on drug and weapon offences.
Charged are Michael Norman Knox, 24, of Fourth Street; Jordan William Oakes, 23, and Corey James DeCoste, 27, of Oceancrest Drive.
Knox is charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking involving marijuana, cocaine and hashish.
Oakes is charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and single counts of assaulting a police officer, assault, resisting arrest and breaching a court order.
DeCoste is charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and single counts of possession of a firearm with no licence, carrying a concealed weapon and carrying a weapon in a careless manner.
Cape Breton Regional Police report being called to a residence on Oceancrest Drive at around 4 a.m. Sunday with a report that a male was in the area with a gun.
According to a release from police, they located the male inside a residence along with illegal drugs.
